 'Wahli Dikari Yojana' was launched to protect the daughters of Gujarat.

Vahli Dikri Yojana was announced on July 2, 2019, presenting the budget while Deputy Chief Minister Shri Nitinbhai Patel Jhwara was allocating Rs 133 crore for the scheme. Under which, the first two offspring of poor families, who are girls, will get Rs 1 lakh for marriage or higher education at the age of 18.

• The beneficiary family will have to undergo offspring regulation operation after the second offspring.
• The beneficiary family must be a resident of Gujarat.
• The annual income of the beneficiary family should be 2 lakh or less.
• The first two daughters of the family will get the benefit.
