WhatsApp releases new feature, will automatically delete messages at set time

name of this feature to delete message. This feature was in discussion for the
last several months. The special feature of the feature is that users can

Developing as a cleaning tool
This update is currently being made available on the Android
beta version. Along with Android, the delete message feature of WhatsApp is
also being offered on the iOS beta version. Another special feature of this
feature is that the company is developing it as a cleaning tool. With the help
of this feature, group administrators will be able to manage storage better by
periodically deleting group chats.
Rollout happening for group chats
WABetaInfo has spotted this new feature on the beta version
of WhatsApp in Android and iOS. According to WABetaInfo, with the introduction
of this feature, users will now be able to decide how long a message will be
present in the chat before it is deleted. Currently this feature is being
rolled out only for WhatsApp group chats. According to reports, this feature
can be rolled out soon for individual chats.
Group admin can be used
On iOS, this update is getting the version number
2.20.10.23. At the same time, this version number for Android has been rolled
out from 2.19.275. WABetaInfo stated that this feature can only be used by
group administrators at the moment and can set the time for a message to be
deleted manually. This feature gets an hour, a day, a week, a month and a year
option to delete the message.
