CTET July 2020: Application link for CBSE CTET July 2020 (CTET July 2020 Notification) has become active.  Candidates wishing to become teachers can apply by going to ctet.nic.in (CBSE CTET July 2020 registration).  The last date for submission of online application is 24 February.  On February 27, by 3.30 pm, students can pay the CTET Fees.  The CTET Exam will be held on July 5, 2020.  The exam will be conducted in 20 cities in 112 cities of the country.  A few days ago CBSE released the result of CTET December 2019 exam.  In this, 22.55 percent candidates passed.  Read here 10 special things related to CBSE CTET July 2020 exam and notification - 1.  - 12th pass with 50 per cent marks and two-year diploma in Elementary Education
 or
 12th pass with 50 per cent marks and 4 year B.EI.Ed
 or
 12th pass with 50 percent marks and two-year diploma in education (special education)
 or
 Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed.

 2. 1. What is the application qualification for CTET Paper-2 (Class VI to VIII) (CTET Paper - 1 2020 Eligibility)
 Graduation and Diploma in Elementary Education

 Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed.

 12th pass with 50 per cent marks and 4 year B.EI.Ed

 3. How to get CTET registration (CTET 2020 Registration)
 Visit the official website of CTET at www.ctet.nic.in.  Click on the link for Apply Online.  Fill the application form and note down the application number / registration number.
 - Upload your scanned latest passport size photo and scanned photo of your signature.
 - Pay exam fees from e-challan or debit / credit card or net banking.
 - After submission, take a print out of the confirmation page.  It may be needed in future.

 4. CTET 2020 Exam Pattern
 150 questions of 150 marks will be asked in Paper-1.  In this, 30 questions related to Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, Maths, Environmental Studies will be asked.
 At the same time, 150 questions of 150 marks will be asked in Paper-2.  In this, questions related to Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, Maths and Science (for Maths and Science Teachers) or Social Studies / Social Science (for Social Studies / Social Science Teacher) will be asked.

 5. CTET 2020 Exam Dates
 CTET July 2020 examination will be held on 6 July 2020.  Both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be two and a half hours.  Paper 1 will be from 9:30 am to 12 noon.  The paper 2 will be from 2 pm to 4:30 pm.

 6. Application fees (CTET Fees)
 For general and OBC category, the application fee for only one question paper is Rs 1000, while for both the papers the application fee is Rs 1200.  At the same time, the application fee for one question paper for SC, ST, handicapped is 500 and the application fee for both question papers is 1200 rupees.

 7. Chance of Correction in Form
 Correction can be done in the application form from 17 March 2020 to 24 March 2020.  After this no one will be able to improve.

 8. The validity of the seat certificate will be 7 years (from the result date).

 9. CTET Paper 1 and Paper 2
 CBSE conducts CTET examination twice every year.  The first examination is held in the month of July and the second of December.  Successful candidates participating in CTET Paper-1 will be considered eligible for teacher recruitment for classes 1 to 5.  Whereas successful candidates sitting in Paper-2 will be considered eligible for teacher recruitment for classes 6th to 8th.

 10. How was the CTET December 2019 result
 In CTET December exam 2019, 28,32,120 candidates had registered.  Out of this, 24,05,145 candidates (Paper 1 - 16,46,620 and Paper 2 - 11,85,500) were sitting in the examination held on 8 December.  Of the total candidates, 22.55 percent candidates passed.  Out of 24,05,145 candidates who took the exam, 5,42,285 candidates passed.  There were 2,47,386 candidates in Paper 1 and 2,94,899 candidates in Paper 2.  The examination was conducted in 110 cities.  2,935 examination centers were built.
