Flipkart launches laptop in India, price starts at Rs 39,990

Walmart's e-commerce site Flipkart has launched a brand new laptop series 'MarQ by Flipkart' in India. This series is named Falkon Aerbook and can be purchased at an initial price of Rs 39,990. This laptop series can be purchased on Flipkart from January 17 onwards. The company says that it has been specially designed according to the needs of Indian users.
Flipkart said in a statement that the Falkon Aerbook laptop series has been developed in partnership with Intel and Microsoft. Talking about the specifications, the laptop has a 13.3 inch display and it works on Intel 8th Gen core i5 processor. This laptop has 8 GB RAM and 256 GB solid-state storage, which can be expanded up to 1 TB with the help of an extra SDD slot. This laptop has a 37W-hr battery, which will provide backup users up to 5 hours.

Giving details of the launch, Flipkart Electronics and Furniture VP Private Brands Adarsh Menon said, "Customers have given millions of reviews on our platform and told which specifications they need in the device. With this help, we have developed the first MarQ Flipkart laptop, which is specially designed for Indian customers. The Falkon Aerbook has the best in-class features, making it a great value device. With the help of Intel and Microsoft, we have designed a laptop with superior performance for Indian customers.
Smart TV also by Flipkart
In November, Flipkart partnered with Nokia to enter the smart TV segment in India. Nokia's entry in this segment has taken place after launching smart TVs from OnePlus and Motorola. Smartphones have been launched in India by both companies in the last few months. Following the brand license partnership, Nokia branded TV has been launched at a price tag of Rs 41,999. This Nokia branded smart TV will come with 'Complete Protection of Flipkart' at a cost of Rs. 999, in which users are getting a three-year damage cover.
