JioTVCamera accessory launch for JioFiber set top box

Reliance Jio has launched a new JioTVCamera accessory to allow JioFiber users to make video calls. During the launch of Geofiber, the company had said that users will be able to make video calls with the help of Geofiber set-top boxes. JioTV camera is an accessory that will be attached to your TV set to facilitate video calling. At the moment it is not clear whether any third party camera will work with the set top box or not, but if you do not have a camera for TV video calling then you can buy JioTV camera from Jio's official website.
The new JioTVCamera has been priced at Rs 2,999 and it is being sold from Jio's website. Reliance Jio is offering EMI option on it and the company claims that it will be delivered within 3-5 working days. In addition, a one-year warranty is also being given on this product by the company and in case of any damage or defect, it will also be replaced within 7 days of delivery.
No separate installation is required for the JioTV camera and users will be able to easily plug the USB end of the camera into the USB port of the set top box. Once the accessory is plugged in, reboot the set top box and set your landline number on the Geocool app through an easy OTP process. After this, users will be able to make and receive video calls through the geocall app. The geoTV camera will get a 120 degree field of view so that more people can come in one frame. The camera weighs just 93 grams and its dimension is 118x37.2x30.8mm. It has a 1 / 2.7-inch CMOS sensor integrated with 3.1mm focal length. Let us tell you that the set-top-box was introduced in August last year and it was made available to new and existing geofiber users for free in December. The Geofiber set-top box is an Android-based streaming media player, with the help of which users will be able to stream content through the OTT application on their TV screens. The Geofiber set-top box currently supports Hotstar, YouTube, Voot, JioSaavn, JioTV Plus, SonyLIV and JioCinema.
