All transport equipment closed: After train and bus, Domestic flights closed at midnight tomorrow.

• ·         An average of 1.3 million passengers a month and 14 million passengers a year on domestic flights in the country
• ·         As of 31st March, all passenger trains (125000) are closed, with 2.3 million people traveling daily

Due to coronavirus, no one can travel across the country from 12pm on Wednesday night. There is a complete lockdown in 19 states and partial lockdown in 5 states. There is a curfew in Punjab and Puducherry. That is, the boundaries in these states are sealed and public transport is completely closed. People can't over-fever anywhere. Meanwhile, the Center has issued an order that all domestic flights be closed from 12 pm on Tuesday night. Any passenger who wants to get out should arrive by 11.59pm on Tuesday night. There will be no flight afterwards. An average of 1.3 million passengers a year and 14 million passengers a year on domestic flights.

What things are closed in the country?

Aircraft service

The center has banned international flights till March 29. The center has decided to close all domestic flights on Monday. The center said that all domestic flights will be closed after 12pm on Tuesday night. However, the Center did not say how long the ban would be.

Train

By March 31, the railway has decided to discontinue all the 12500-passenger trains. No trains will leave except the cargo for 9 days. That is, 2.3 million people traveling by train every day can no longer overrun.

Metro service-Interstate buses

The Cabinet Secretary on Sunday directed the Chief Secretaries of all the states that the Metro Service and Inter-State buses have also been closed till March 31. It also includes the Delhi Metro, with around 200 million people traveling daily.

Lockdown and curfew in 25 states also seal city boundaries

Lockdown has taken place in 25 states and union territories of the country. These include Punjab, Maharashtra and Puducherry, where curfew has been announced till March 31. The boundaries of these states and their districts are sealed, meaning that no person can move from city to city. Lockdown  is in all states until March 31.
