Director, Office of Scheduled Caste Welfare, Gandhinagar. A scheme is being implemented to provide self-employment to the Scheduled Caste beneficiaries by providing equipment tickets. Toolkits will be provided for different businesses as per the rules. To avail benefits under this scheme,
(1) The applicant should be a native of the State of Gujarat.
The annual income of the applicant’s family (the year 2019-2020) for rural areas is Rs. 1,20,000 / – and for urban area Rs. 1.50.000 Should not be more than Rs.150000
(2)Applicants belonging to the most backward castes among the Scheduled Castes will not be subject to the income limit norm.
(3) The age of the applicant should not be less than 18 years and not more than 30 years on the date of advertisement.
(4) The applicant or his family members should not have received a subsidized loan from Gujarat Scheduled Caste Development Corporation or any other agency, institution, or bank of the state. Caste Development Corporation, Gandhinagar as well as ISMOs who have availed benefits under this department under Manav GarimaYojana will not be eligible to avail the benefits of this scheme.

The application form of this scheme is free of cost from the Deputy Director of the concerned district, from the office of Scheduled Caste Welfare and at the taluka level from the Social Welfare Inspector and from the website www.sje.gujarat.gov.in It can be downloaded from above. And the filled application forms along with the required supporting documents should be sent to the office of the Deputy Director of the District, Scheduled Caste Welfare Office within 3 days from the date of publication of the advertisement during the query period.
In this scheme, the income of the competent officer is to be submitted along with the application form. Instead, the present applicant will have to submit an affidavit as per the form given below instead of the income proof of the competent officer along with the application. When it is stated that the application of the applicant has been approved, the applicant has to get the year from the competent authority Certificate of annual income for the year 2018-19 has to be obtained and submitted to the concerned office.
