After the ban on Tiktok in India, downloads on many Indian apps in its option are increasing. Indian social media platform Sherchat has launched a short video app Moj like Tiktok. Interestingly, this app has got 1 million downloads on Google Play Store within 5 days.

In the Moj app, users can upload and share 15-second videos. The app also has many effects, stickers and filters for creating videos. The app is available in 15 Indian languages ​​including Gujarati, Hindi and Kannada. English language is not currently included in the app. Users will be able to upload videos uploaded to the Moj app directly to their WhatsApp status.

The Moj app was launched on the Google Play Store on June 29. It is also available in the App Store for iOS users. The company has not given any information about the stable version of this app which is currently in beta. After banning 59 Chinese apps, users have turned to Indian apps. The ShareChat and Spark app are also being downloaded by millions of people in the country every day. The Spark app has surpassed 10 million downloads on the Google Play Store since Tiktok closed.
