CM Kisan Sahay Yojana gets approval for 2021, 53 lakh farmers will get benefits
- Kisan Sahay Yojana approved for 2021, if there is a loss of 33 to 60%, you will get assistance of Rs. 20,000 per hectare
- Assistance will be given up to a maximum of 4 hectares per hectare
- Assistance of Rs. 25000 per hectare if crop loss in Kharif season is more than 60%
Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has approved the Mukhyamantri Kisan Sahay Yojana for the year 2021 to help millions of farmers in the state against crop losses due to natural calamities during the kharif season. The scheme covers all farmers in the state, big and small, as well as marginalized. It is estimated that more than 53 lakh farmers in the state will benefit from this scheme. Not only this, the farmer will not have to pay any premium or any other registration fee for this scheme.
Loss percentage 33 to 60 per cent: Assistance of Rs. 20,000 per hectare
Crop losses due to drought-drought-excessive rainfall-unseasonal rains-Mawthu are also covered in this Mukhyamantri Kisan Sahay Yojana. If we talk about the assistance standard of Mukhyamantri Kisan Sahay Yojana, if the percentage of crop loss in kharif season is 33 to 60 percent, then the assistance of Rs. 20,000 per hectare will be given up to a maximum of 4 hectares.
More than 60% loss: 25000 per hectare help
Not only that, if the crop loss during kharif season is more than 60%, the assistance of Rs. 25,000 per hectare will be given up to a maximum of 4 hectares. In addition, forest farmers who have a charter under the Forest Rights Act will also benefit.
There are no payments or fees
Farmers will not have to pay any fee for the application. As well as the state government will pay the full cost for the data entry of the application. In this Mukhyamantri Sahay Yojana, the amount of assistance from the district level will be paid directly to the bank account of the beneficiaries through DBT after calculating the benefit on the basis of preliminary assessment and application of the farmers as well as approval from the taluka level.
Toll free number facility has also been provided for the smooth implementation of this scheme as well as for the guidance of the farmers. Apart from this scheme, the farmer beneficiaries who are eligible to avail the benefits as per the provisions of SDRF scheme will also be eligible.
In the year 2020, due to heavy rains, a package of Rs 3700 crore was given
Accordingly, the Chief Minister also directed the State Government to provide Rs. Announced a package of Rs 3700 crore. Similarly, in the year 2019, even when the non-seasonal rains during October-November caused heavy losses to the farmers of the state, the state government spent Rs. 3795 crore package was announced.
Apart from this, Rs. 1673 crore assistance was provided to the farmers of the state against various natural calamities in the year 2018-19 as well as Rs. 1706 crore assistance was provided to the farmers against the damage caused to Banaskantha and other districts due to heavy rains in the year 2017-18.
The Kisan Hitkari State Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has approved the Mukhyamantri Kisan Sahay Yojana for the year 2021 to help the sons of the earth against crop losses due to natural calamities during the kharif season.
