T20 World Cup: India's flag hoisted around the world, while Team Burj Khalifa was seen maintaining Team India's new jersey




Team India's new jersey for T20 World Cup has been launched. Virat Kohli's brigade will show its worth by wearing a dark blue jersey. He was also given a special welcome after arriving in New Jersey. Team India's new jersey was also spotted at Burj Khalifa in Dubai on Wednesday and posters of the players also shone on the world's tallest tower.

Team India's jersey was shown through a laser show at the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building in Dubai. The Board of Control for Cricket in India tweeted the video of the moment, in which the Burj Khalifa is seen gleaming with the pictures of Team India.



The BCCI has posted a video on Twitter showing Team India players in New Jersey at the Burj Khalifa building. New Jersey has been named 'Cheers Jersey' as well as the theme song 'Game Dikha'.

The jersey of the Indian cricket team for the upcoming ICC 20 World Cup was unveiled on Wednesday. The team's official kit sponsor MPL Sports designed the jersey with the theme of Billion Cheers. The new jersey was first unveiled from the official social media handle but later it was presented to the world in a different way.

Team India's new jersey has been launched recently and there is a lot of excitement among the fans. BCCI has written on this special occasion that the launch of Team India's jersey is getting bigger. The projection shown on the Burj Khalifa can be seen here.

Let it be known that this time T20 World Cup is being played in UAE and Oman. Earlier it was to be played in India but it was shifted due to the Koro crisis. However, officially India will be its host. The T20 World Cup starts on October 17 and India's first match is against Pakistan on October 24.

Earlier, the board shared the picture of Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah on Twitter and wrote – The pattern of the jersey is inspired by billions of cheers from fans.



The Indian team will begin its campaign in the tournament with a match against arch-rivals Pakistan in Dubai on October 24. After this, India's next match will be against New Zealand in Dubai on 31 October and then the last group match against Afghanistan in Abu Dhabi on 3 November.
