આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય માતૃભાષા દિવસ(International Mother Tongue Day) એ દ્વિમુખી ઉજવણી છે. વિશ્વવ્યાપી ઉજવણી ભાષાની વિવિધતા અને વિવિધતાને સન્માન આપે છે. તે બાંગ્લાદેશમાં 21 ફેબ્રુઆરી, 1952ના રોજ થયેલા વિરોધ પ્રદર્શન દરમિયાન માર્યા ગયેલા વિદ્યાર્થીઓનું પણ સ્મરણ કરે છે. તેઓ તે જૂથનો ભાગ હતા જેઓ તેમની માતૃભાષા તરીકે બંગાળીના સત્તાવાર ઉપયોગ માટે ઝુંબેશ ચલાવી રહ્યા હતા.


બાંગ્લાદેશ પહેલા પૂર્વ પાકિસ્તાન હતું જ્યારે આજનું પાકિસ્તાન પશ્ચિમ પાકિસ્તાન હતું. જ્યારે 1947 માં ભારતના ભાગલા દ્વારા પાકિસ્તાનનું પ્રભુત્વ બનાવવામાં આવ્યું ત્યારે બાંગ્લાદેશ પાકિસ્તાનનો ભાગ બન્યો. નવા રાષ્ટ્રમાં ઘણા ભાષાકીય અને વંશીય જૂથોનો સમાવેશ થતો હતો, જેમાંથી મોટાભાગના બંગાળી બોલતા હતા. પાકિસ્તાનના આધિપત્યની સરકારે આદેશ આપ્યો કે ઉર્દૂ સત્તાવાર ભાષા હશે.


મોટાભાગની વસ્તી બંગાળી બોલતી હોવાથી, તેઓ ઇચ્છતા હતા કે તેમની ભાષાને પણ સત્તાવાર ભાષા તરીકે માન્યતા આપવામાં આવે. સરકારે રેલીઓ અને જાહેર સભાઓ પર પ્રતિબંધ મૂક્યો હતો. પરંતુ બંગાળી બોલનારાઓએ બંગાળી ભાષા ચળવળનું આયોજન કર્યું, જેમાં ઢાકા યુનિવર્સિટીના વિદ્યાર્થીઓ પણ જોડાયા. 21 ફેબ્રુઆરી, 1952 ના રોજ વિરોધની ઊંચાઈએ, પોલીસે પ્રદર્શનકારીઓ પર ગોળીબાર કર્યો, જેના કારણે ચાર વિદ્યાર્થીઓ મૃત્યુ પામ્યા. પરંતુ સરકારે બંગાળીને સત્તાવાર ભાષા જાહેર કરતાં બીજા ચાર વર્ષ લાગ્યાં.


આપણી માતૃભાષા શા માટે મહત્વની છે?(Why is Our Mother Tongue Important?)

અમે દાવો કરી શકીએ છીએ કે આંતરરાષ્ટ્રીય માતૃભાષા એ વાણી સ્વાતંત્ર્યને સલામ છે - પરંતુ આ કિસ્સામાં, તમે જે ભાષા જાણો છો અને સમજો છો તે અથવા તમારી માતૃભાષા બોલવાની સ્વતંત્રતા છે.


માતૃભાષાનું મહત્વ નકારી શકાય તેમ નથી અને આવું શા માટે થાય છે તેના કેટલાક કારણો અહીં આપ્યા છે.


1. તે બાળકોના બૌદ્ધિક વિકાસમાં મદદ કરે છે

D.Ed. in special education from a RCI approved institute and possess valid RCI CRR number or,D.EL.Ed. with recognize qualification (certificate into diploma) from RCI approved institution equivalent to D.Ed. in special education and possess valid RCI CRR number in respective category of disability.

Note: “(Special Educator) Education for Special Teacher Eligibility Test- (Sp.TET-I) shall be subject to resolution from time to time by Govt. That means Gujarat vinegar will have to come.
