Primary teachers working in Gujarat government have been waiting for transfer since last many years. Primary teacher transfer camps have been conducted online for several years. Several court cases were filed by the teachers regarding some discrepancies in the transfer rules. Due to which there was a need to change the rules of transfer of primary teachers.
A committee was formed by the state government to frame new rules for the transfer of primary teachers in the state of Gujarat. There were 5 meetings of this committee. At the end of these meetings, a draft of transfer rules has been prepared.
